Our Story
Legal Fulfillment Group was created to assist attorneys with document retrieval. Most law
firms do not have the time or staffing for the multiple contacts necessary to make sure all requests are
sent to the appropriate places. Once they jump that hurdle, obtaining the documents and making sure
providers are aware of HIPAA guidelines and requirements is yet another step that takes too much time
away from the needs of a law office. Many facilities are not aware of statutes regarding allowable
charges for documents.
We provide them with appropriate statutes to assist them with following the law. With the ever changing
statutes and regulations regarding what is allowed and what is not, we stay on top of those to make sure
we and the facilities are following those explicitly. We are here to help you get the best results for
your clients.
About the CEO
Karla Grove (Pantenburg) started Legal Fulfillment Group in 2013 after working over 20 years with
Sylvester "Sly" James, Jr. as his paralegal/office manager. When Mr. James became Mayor of Kansas
City, Missouri, she decided to start her own company to assist plaintiffs' firms and staff with
their document needs based on her experience obtaining documents during her time with Sly. The
wisdom Mr. James passed along to her in their years working together helped her create and maintain
a company with the highest degree of integrity and honesty possible. Mr. James was instrumental in
shaping her belief and understanding of the legal world.
Over the many years in a law office, Karla maintained a spreadsheet of facilities, who to contact,
who did what billing and any possible ancillary billers. That information was translated into a web
portal to make requesting documents and obtaining all billing information available as easy and
efficient as possible.Karla also takes pride in her staff who assists with the document retrieval.
All individuals are an integral part of the team and they all understand they need to do their best
to do everything they can for the clients of the firms.
